Ice Cubes Are Too Small

Small cubes usually mean the ice mold is not receiving the expected amount of water or the fill is being interrupted.

Possible causes

• Restricted or overdue water filter
• Kinked supply line or low household water pressure
• Frozen or misaligned fill tube
• Restricted self-piercing saddle valve
• Water inlet valve or ice maker fill problem
• Ice maker not level

Check for obvious line kinks and follow the manufacturer’s filter instructions. Water-valve and timed-fill diagnosis usually requires model-specific testing.
